About us
Simpson Race Exhausts was set up in 2001 to produce high quality exhaust systems for the motorsport industry, performance car and motorcycle markets.
Our 3500 Sq. Ft Workshop and Office Facility, which has been fitted out to a very high standard to specifically manufacture exhaust systems.
Since starting up in 2001 our company has taken on all types of work, including Circuit cars, Hill climb, Sprint cars, Rally cars, Short Circuit cars and motorbikes.
We Specialise in prototypes, one off and bulk orders at a price you can afford.
What We Do
Simpson Race Exhausts is a company specialising in design and manufacturing of inconel and stainless steel systems for all types of motor sport industry and performance cars and motorcycle markets. We pride ourselves on the quality of exhausts and workmanship that goes into producing these handmade systems. We think the results that have been achieved both on and off the race track are the main reason we are one of the top exhaust manufacturers in the UK.
EXHAUST MANUFACTURE
We manufacture exhausts for any type of car, bike, off road vehicles etc. You name it we can make it. All our exhausts are handmade and each exhaust is treated as separate specialist project which maintains our quality to the highest level. When producing an exhaust, it is paramount it performs correctly but it also has to look nice, both these things we have expert knowledge at achieving. We only use the highest quality Stainless Steel and Inconel tubing. All welds are gas purged helping keep the inside of the tube smooth to increase the gas flow.
MANIFOLDS
All our manifolds have been run on the Dyno and proven to increase horsepower and torque.
All of our manifolds are built to the engine builders specifications.
Every branch of the manifold will be of equal length.
TUBE MANUFACTURE
We have in house facilities that enable us to make our own tube. We find this is a really useful tool when it comes to the manufacture of our Inconel tube. We produce Inconel tube from flat sheet and can make it to any diameter which is appropriate for the exhausts we are manufacturing. Inconel is much lighter than stainless steel and can work to a much higher temperature. We can produce Inconel to meet your requirements.
SILENCERS
Simpson Race Exhausts Silencers are all hand made. We can make any type o silencer to suit your needs. Repackable, Non repackable, any shape or size in variety of finishes. Our silencers are made throughout in stainless steel 304 or Inconel if requested, and are packed with wire wool and e glass which is a fibre glass based product. We offer in house noise testing so we can solve any noise problems that you might have. We are finding this increasing useful for those people who use their cars for track days.
COLLECTORS
These are out merge collectors. Looking at these closely you can see the point in the middle of the collector allowing for a smooth flow from the pipes into I. These collectors are all hand fabricated from separate bent tubes. They are finished off by Tig welding the component together, but not forgetting to gas purge the collector. Gas purging is when you fill the component with a flowing pressure of pure argon. Which enables the penetration while you are welding to be smooth on the inside.
BENDING
We have the latest in technology for bending tube. We can supply Mandrel bends to various angles, diameters and radius from stock. Our machinery has the capability of turning around stock fast so if there is anything you need then please just contact us to discuss your requirements.
